Complementing a Provocative Brand with a Sleek Online Presence

Fashion is about image. KiDS, a boutique advertising agency based in New York, had an incredible one. The shop was known for killer campaigns for the likes of Alexander Wang, Balmain, Prada, Alexander McQueen, and Lanvin. But the agency’s website wasn’t keeping up. 

We redesigned the site to serve (not stifle) the work. I provided creative direction that showcased the agency’s provocative work in a razor-sharp gallery display. I layered redactions — the brand’s visual language — into the site functionality to raise the bar of the digital design and highlight the brand’s cooler-than-thou messaging.
