Making Every User Experience an Expression of the Apple Brand

 

During my time embedded in Apple’s Sunnyvale MarCom department, I provided art direction for three critical launches. The first involved redesigning the checkout process on apple.com and the Apple Store app. The challenge: most checkout experiences are tedious and uninspiring. The solution: make the most seamless, most intuitive checkout for the world’s most iconic brand.  

We achieved it all by adding moments of unexpected joy at each step of checkout. By testing every single discrete interaction, we ultimately increased sales by 1%.
